Russ has always dreamed of owning a hardware store, and on Nov 9, 2010, his dream came true. One week later on Nov 15 the doors to Lonsdale Hardware & Rental reopened. Some changes were made, but some things stayed the same.  The sale of appliances was discontinued and was replaced with the sale of bait and lumber.  The hunting and fishing departments were expanded, and each month we added merchandise to the  hardware, plumbing, electrical, housewares, and paint departments. But most importantly, we kept Pat.  Pat Skluzacek is well known at 101 North Main; she has been an employee of the hardware store since May of 1987. 

Lonsdale Hardware is more like your grandparent's store, offering friendly service: a place where everyone knows your name, quality products at a reasonable price, and customer satisfaction. Our employees are friendly, knowledgeable and well trained in all departments.  We encourage our customers to tap into Russ' knowledge and expertise in building, remodeling, plumbing, electrical, and all other aspects of home improvement.   If you need it, we have it. If we don't have it, we will get it.  If we can't get it, you probably didn't need it in the first place.
